Chili Cookoff January 22

We just wanted to announce that the Camping Ministry will host the annual Chili Cookoff Contest fundraiser on Sunday, January 22 after the late service.

Come join us for some fun taste-testing of delicious chili made by great cooks in the congregation.  It’s the perfect time of year to fill your belly with some warm chili.  There will be an award for Best Chili (decided by a judging panel) and an award for People’s Choice Chili (voted on by all of you).  Let us know if you would want to be one of the judges!

Entry fees of $10 per pot and freewill donations will go to benefit the Camping Ministry.  This year, campers will be attending day camp at Chestnut Ridge, and residential camps at Chestnut Ridge and Camp Don Lee.

If you would like to enter a crockpot or pot of chili for the contest, please let one of the camper moms know:  Beth Wrenn, Whitney Sharlow, Ashley Fletcher, Melanie Scott, Jackie Swanik, Susanne Duncan, Kim King, Amy Bowes or Kate Holeman.

You can also email your entry to
