Rev. Donald O. Daniel

Ever since its inception in 1786, Mt. Zion has been a vital and vibrant congregation of believers in Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “Everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” Well, Mt. Zion has the reputation far and wide of being a group of very loving people. If you are already involved with Mt. Zion you know that this reputation is accurate. We are committed to each other and to the mission Jesus Christ has given us, which is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We accomplish this by offering opportunities for people to connect with God and each other through passionate worship, fellowship, spiritual development and by reaching out to the world through missions and service.

If you are just becoming acquainted with Mt. Zion, I know you will sense God’s presence among us and that you will find this to be a place where you feel very much at home. I also know that you will find Mt. Zion to be a people to whom you can commit and a church that values what you have to offer God. It is one of our goals to assist every person to reach their potential and find fulfillment in their walk of faith.

With God as our guide, we look forward to a bright and productive future. So, whether you are a long time member or brand new, I invite you to join us on this journey of faith.

Peace and Joy
