Dear Par­ents:
We would like to wel­come every­one (class­es from Nurs­ery through Adult) to Mt. Zion Unit­ed Methodist Church’s Vaca­tion Bible School. A glob­al fair will be brought to your kids at our Vaca­tion Bible School, Every­where Fun Fair: Where God’s World Comes Togeth­er! Your chil­dren will become neigh­bors at Every­where Fun Fair as we explore God’s wel­com­ing love and dis­cov­er how Jesus teach­es us to be great neighbors.

After a high-ener­gy open­ing at Friend­ship Cen­tral and singing at the Choral Cor­ner, the neigh­bors make their way to the Bible Bazaar. Inter­ac­tive Bible lessons reveal five Friend­ship Phras­es for liv­ing as the kind of neigh­bor Jesus teach­es us to be, and the neigh­bors will dis­cov­er Scrip­ture that will boost their faith, long after VBS.

The chil­dren will expand on what they’ve learned by par­tic­i­pat­ing in a vari­ety of activ­i­ties: mak­ing their own art projects at the Cre­ation Zone, explor­ing sci­ence activ­i­ties at Inno­va­tion Sta­tion, and par­tic­i­pat­ing in recre­ation­al activ­i­ties at Glob­al Games.

We encour­age your child to bring a mon­e­tary dona­tion for these projects. The mon­ey can be placed in the glob­al tube locat­ed in the New Fel­low­ship Hall and in front of the VBS Glob­al Mis­sions bul­letin board. Mt. Zion UMC and these min­istries will appre­ci­ate your gift very much! Let’s show our chil­dren how to help our fel­low broth­ers and sis­ters! Thank you for your support!

A cou­ple of items to note:

1. At the begin­ning of each night, kids should check-in at the Reg­is­tra­tion Booth locat­ed between the two buildings.
2. Chil­dren ages 4 and under will be in their room for pick-up. We encour­age that a par­ent or approved adult be the one to pick them up.
3. A lite snack will be avail­able at the Reg­is­tra­tion Booth as chil­dren depart for the evening.
